When I embarked on my search for a McLaren 750s Spider, I was pleasantly surprised to find seven listings on Autotrader. One particular listing stood out to me, as the images were striking, and the description was detailed and comprehensive. To my astonishment, this car was the only one not listed by an official McLaren dealer. It was advertised by Anthony James Cars Limited, a company known for providing their clients with exceptional service and a memorable car-buying experience.

Initially, I was a bit apprehensive about going the independent route, but the impressive quality of their stock and the glowing reviews reassured me. I decided to give them a call, and I was connected with Jonny. I explained that I was looking to part-exchange my 488 Spider and was considering either a 296 or a 750s. Jonny listened attentively and shared his knowledge and experience with me without any pressure to sell either car. His insights and expertise quickly put my concerns to rest.

I had a strong inclination towards the 750s, but I was still uncertain about the part-exchange process. Jonny returned with an offer for my Ferrari from an official Ferrari dealer and even shared the details of the offer with me. The entire transaction was arranged smoothly, with the deal being as transparent and straightforward as any I have ever experienced.

There was no pressure, no deposit required - just trust and transparency. On the day of collection, Jonny kindly picked me up from the station, and the car was exactly as described and simply stunning. I came across a very nice low mileage 2021 Range Rover, which led me to Anthony James Cars. To be fair, the car sold itself. Having owned a number of Range Rovers in the past, it was clear this was a particularly good one. It came with a 12 month warranty to the value of the vehicle, which also took some pressure off. Out of interest, I had look at some of the other cars for sale and its fair to say, as a dyed in the wool petrolhead, it’s unlikely I would have been disappointed by any of them. My budget was somewhat constrained at that point.

I dealt with Daniel, who was knowledgeable and clearly customer orientated throughout, and from the stock, clearly has the easiest job in the world. I would happily purchase another car from them, subject to an appropriate Euromillions win

"I first encountered Anthony James Cars over a year ago when I was looking for a 997 911, and ended up buying a 997 Carrera GTS from Daniel. I don't live too far away from AJC, so we kept in touch to see how I was getting on with the GTS.
 
This summer I got an invite from the guys at Anthony James to catch up over a coffee at their breakfast meet. Not long after that I mentioned to Daniel that I was looking for a GT3 as the next step on from the GTS, and the ball started rolling!
